Finally, I have this polish to show you! Mutagen by ILNP is a stunner of a polish. A jaw-dropping polish. A pick your jaw up off of the floor polish. This is kind of how I felt when I saw the color mutations in this polish (btw, I totally miss this show):
The definition of mutagen is an agent that causes genetic mutation. Simple, straightforward. Right? Well, this polish is anything but. Let’s look at a couple of bottle shots. Forewarning: copious amounts of beautiful polish pictures ahead.
Inside, natural light, no flash:
A really pretty green, right? Then I took a picture with flash:
Whoa! Total change-up. The formula on this is just as good as Birefringence, 2 coats and I was good to go. I topped it with my go-to topcoat, HK Girl from Glisten & Glow.
Now for the rest of the pictures, which are all in some variation of sun & shade, with no flash.
Seeing the shift from green to blue/green.
Seeing a whole range of color shift.
Well, readers, what do YOU think of this gorgeous polish? I still can’t make up my mind whether I like Birefringence better or this one, so I’m glad I have both and don’t have to make up my mind! Mutagen is still available at I Love Nail Polish, for $12.50. In my opinion, it is well-worth the price!
Until the next time,
I love a polish that changes in different lights…beautiful!
