Good morning everyone! It’s Wednesday, thank goodness, and it’s my little girl’s 7th birthday today. Unfortunately, she’s sick with a bad cold and won’t be able to have too much fun today. 😦
I have a fun manicure today, but it was kind of a pain in the butt to do! I started off with a base of OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby and then used striping tape and Wet n Wild Who Is Ultra Violet to create the pattern of gingham check.
The thing about this mani is that you have to use an opposing color that is sheer, so that when the lines cross, they are noticeably darker than the lines themselves. Who Is Ultra Violet was great for this but also a bit hard to control (for me).
Isn’t this fun? I wore this for two days and received so many compliments! What do you think of the manicure?
