March Twin Post: Peacock Print

2014 favorite button | Be Happy And Buy PolishGood morning everyone! Today I have a fun post for you. I’m in a Facebook group with other lovely ladies, and each month I get paired up with a new person to do a twin post with. This month I was paired up with Jenni from Nail Art Novice and we were assigned a peacock print. Jenni and I discussed a few ideas, using this dress as an inspiration.

I then found a cake from Cake Wrecks that was a deconstructed peacock print, and we both agreed to take our cue from it:

Peacock Cake from Royal Bakery

For my nails, I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Black on Black, Pistache (lighter green), My Buoyfriend (blue on accent nail), Burning Bright (lighter blue), and an unnamed Sinful Colors dark blue. I then topped it off with Glisten & Glow’s HK Girl topcoat.

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure about this when I first had it on, but the longer I looked at it, the more I liked it! Weird? haha! Here are Jenni & I’s peacock prints together:

Make sure you show Jenni some love at her blog, Nail Art Novice. I hope you enjoyed both our nails! Let’s look at everyone else’s twin posts:

Until tomorrow,
