Mentality Matte Holos

Hello there my lovely readers! I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. This week has been an up-and-down week for me, so I’m ready for more “up” than “down”.

Today I have four matte holos from Mentality Nail Polish: Betty, Mairead, Wangari, and Black Holo. The matte holos were an “oops” from Mentality originally, but they are part of their line (for now). As usual, the formula on these polishes are typical of Mentality – smooth and easy. They do dry a bit fast because of the matte finish. I’ve used OPI base & top coats on all of the polishes, and each shows 2 coats. They can be a bit brush-strokey though, so just take your time applying the polish.

Mentality Betty is a blackened purple with a red/pink sparkle. Showing here no topcoat, lightbox:

Mentality Mairead is similar to Betty, but it is more of a dark purple rather than a blackened purple. It also has more of a red undertone than Betty. Showing here no topcoat, lightbox:

Mentality Wangari is a golden brown/champagne color with pink undertone. It was the surprise polish in this bunch to me! Showing no topcoat, lightbox:
