Good morning all! I have a super pretty polish for today’s post from ALIQUID Lacquer, called Old Dog, New Tricks. This is AL’s anniversary polish to celebrate her 2 year anniversary in business.
Old Dog, New Tricks is a “holographic base with magenta and blue microflakies, fuchsia microglitter, and real silver flakes.”
I’ve used 3 thin coats plus top coat for my photos.
The formula on this is a little thin but not too runny or uncontrollable. The flakes and microflakies didn’t stick up, it’s a smooth laying polish. This polish can also be layered, which Polish Hound did a nice job of showing on her blog!
I’m so glad I picked this polish up – it truly is unique. If the name is anything to go by, might we be seeing some “new tricks” from ALIQUID Lacquer soon? I certainly hope so!
Have you ever tried anything by AL?
Such a pretty color! I like the shiny almost glass like look to it.
I love you in pink!
What a delicate pink! Looks great on you!
This color is super feminine and delicate, it looks georgous on you
While pink isn’t my favorite color, I do love all the gorgeous glitz and glam included in this shade!
This polish looks so lovely on you!
It’s so pretty and girly, I love it!
