Hi everyone! I can’t believe it’s the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art challenge. I’ve had a lot of fun, but for the last prompt of freestyle, I’m kind of disappointed.
I really wanted to do a successful watermarble, because I haven’t done one in awhile. But I think I’ve lost my watermarble mojo.
I started off with 1 coat of OPI Alpine Snow. I then used OPI Over and Over A-Gwen (red) and Here Today Aragon Tomorrow (green) for my watermarble.
I really was frustrated because I’d already tried to watermarble (unsuccessfully) with some holo polishes. (Total flop, FYI.) So I didn’t really like how that looked and slapped a coat of China Glaze Golden Enchantment on top.
I dunno, I’m kinda meh on this. My family liked it, and I’m keeping it on for awhile to see if it’ll grow on me.
Let’s see what everyone else did:
Which way do you like the watermarble, with or without the coat of Golden Enchantment? Any tips on successfully watermarbling with holo polishes?

I like your watermarble! Both ways actually!
I don’t think your watermarble looks too bad. Its so much better than when I try to do one, lol.
Beautiful water marble design. I love it with gold topper. I think water marbles designs are most fascinating when they are not prefect, that’s the beauty and depth of it for me And your design has plenty of both ❤
