Hi everyone! I’ve had pretty much the worst weekend – okay not the worst because no one is sick but it’s been pretty crappy nonetheless. I hope you’ve had a better weekend than me! Oh well – today’s weather is supposed to be nice, at least, and we have a playdate so there’s that to look forward to. Before I head off though, I have the Orly Color Blast Harley Quinn nail polish set to show you. I picked up all three sets – Harley Quinn, Batgirl, and Catwoman. Those to come later in the week!
First up is Roll the Dice, a white tinged with pink. Formula on this was thin, streaky, and not self-leveling. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Next is Joke’s On You, a clear-based glitter topper with glitters of blue and yellow and red bar – aka hairy – glitters. Formula was uneven – pretty hard to get the glitters on the nail evenly. This is 1 coat dabbed over Roll the Dice.
This is Signal Fires, a pink-red shimmer polish with red, orange, pink micro flakes. My index finger shows it the most color-accurate. Formula is fairly sheer, but otherwise okay. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
Last is Mysterious Mayhem, a basic black creme. Nothing mysterious here. Formula was a little sheer with the first coat. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
If I had to pick a standout, it would be Signal Fires. Otherwise, for $12.99, I’d say give this set a pass – or wait for clearance!
Nice swatches of this set.
