Good Wednesday morning to you all! I hope you are staying warm – all week long it’s been under 20 degrees for a high, and Friday and Saturday are expected to be bitterly cold, windy, and snowy. Whee! The joys of Montana living. ๐ But this is a great time to show you the newest collection from Bad Bitch Polish, called Winter’s Eve. Each polish is inspired by icy cold sunsets – I feel extra qualified to tell you that yes, these polishes match up perfectly. ๐ Details on when this launches at the end of this post!
Dripping Icicles is a clear based flakie and glitter topper with scattered holographic effect, based on “iced over snow when the sun hits it at an extreme angle”.
I had a smooth application, with perfect formula. The flakies might stick up a bit, so you might need two coats of top coat. This is 1 coat plus 1 coat of top coat over Bad Bitch Polish Hot Chocolate.
Polar Night is a raspberry flakie with scattered holo glitter and orange glitter, based on “polar nights in the polar circles when it remains night for more than 24 hours.”
This had a smooth application, and formula was of good thickness. Those with longer nails might need 3 coats. This is 2 coats plus top coat.ย
Below Zero is an icy blue based polish with scattered holographic effect, and silvery hexes, glitters, and flakies. I think we all know what this is based on! ๐
Formula on this was a bit thinner than the previous two polishes, and it does dry matte. Again, those with longer nails might need 3 coats. This is 2 coats plus top coat.ย
February Twilight is a lavender polish with darker purple, blue, and holographic glitters, based on “that velvety moment just after the sun sets during winter.” [IRL, February Twilight is a tad warmer than my photos show.]
Formula was a bit thin, and the bigger hex glitter got stuck; it does dry matte. Again, those with longer nails might need 3 coats. This is 2 coats plus top coat.ย
Last is Winter’s Dusk, a grey flakie polish with silver glitters and scattered holographic effect, based on that moment when darkness settles over the land.
I had a smooth application, and formula had a good thickness; it does dry matte. This is 2 coats plus top coat.ย [Check out those iridescent flakies on my index finger in the photo above! They make this polish amazing!]
The Winter’s Eve collection launches this Friday, December 16 at Bad Bitch Polish. Each polish is $9.50 or $45 for the set of 5. I literally love every single one of these polishes – I think the maker really knocked it out of the park creating this collection.
Some nice colors these are.
