So I had a post all ready for today, typed up and everything. And then somehow, it disappeared. No trace of it except that I had uploaded the pictures. Since I was starting over anyway, I decided to replace the post with this mani that I wore a couple of weeks ago with Pahlish Just Like the Setting Sun and Pretty & Polished Smoke & Mirrors.
I started off with Pretty & Polished Smoke & Mirrors. Smoke & Mirrors was a Feeling Pretty & Polished fb group custom. This is a grey polish with color shifting flakes and scattered holographic effect. It also has a really strong green shimmer to the flakes that was kind of hard to capture.
Formula was thin and sheer but there was a good distribution of flakes. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
Pahlish Just Like the Setting Sun is a deep pink linear holographic polish with violet flakes. This was a group custom for the Pahlish Lovers fb group.
I then sponged on Pahlish Just Like the Setting Sun with a Sweet Lacquer fishnet vinyl guide [press sample] on my middle and pinky fingers, then sponged it on with kiss-y lips [press sample] on my ring finger and thumb. Lastly, I added pink studs and a pink heart on my pointer finger.
I really enjoyed how this came out! What do you think?
That grey crelly polish is awesome!
This is such a fun manicure!
