Scofflaw Nail Varnish Dust Bunny + Heather’s Hues Killer Costume Party layered manicure

Purchased by Me buttonHi everyone! I hope you are planning on having a good day – or have already had a good day. Today I have a layered manicure with Scofflaw Nail Varnish Dust Bunny and Heather’s Hues Killer Costume Party.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Dust Bunny

Dust Bunny is a purple-pink polish with red flakes and green shimmer (which was super camera shy). This was a group custom for the Love Letter to Scofflaw Facebook group. Formula was thin and sheer but build able. This is 2 coats and no top coat.

Killer Costume Party is a clear based flakie topper with green-red shifting iridescent glitters and UCC flakes.

Formula was thick, due to how much is packed into this topper. It also seemed to go on the nail unevenly, I think it was the flakes not distributing evenly over the nail. This is 1 coat plus top coat over Dust Bunny. I like the idea of this topper but the flakes just seemed to show as dark on the nail in regular light, probably because of their size.

What are your thoughts on this mani? It sure did sparkle in the sunshine!
