Afternoon all! This post published this morning with nothing to show for it. Oops. That seems to be happening a lot lately but I gotta tell you, having a baby that gets me up all hours of the night, plus a toddler and 2 older kids that get up early in the morning – man, it’s freaking exhausting! This is why God created coffee. 😛 Anyway, how about I finally show you Baroness X Fire Opal over Sephora by OPI What Film Noir You In?
I started with Sephora by OPI What Film Noir You In? This was a hard polish to capture but it’s a grape purple that shifts to a red-toned purple and also to orange. It also has a hint of yellow sparkle. Formula was floody and sheer and applied patchy. 😦 This is 3 coats and no top coat.
On top of this, I used 1 coat of Baroness X Fire Opal (which you’ve seen on the blog before in a Unicorn Pee comparison post and also over my custom polishes Be Happy and Buy Polish). This really brings out the red tone to WFNYI? and gives it some oomph.
But then when I moved my fingers around, I got to see the play of green and purple and orange and red and sparkles. This almost had a velvety look to it which was so pretty to see! Fire Opal really enriched this plain manicure and amped it up.
So I’d love to hear what you think of this mani!
