I know, I know. Halloween has come and gone. And I would have had this post up on Halloween or before but I’ll be honest, I’ve really been struggling with anxiety this week and being seriously stressed and overwhelmed (still am ๐ฆ ). So blogging took a backseat (thank you, past me for scheduling a ton of posts ahead of time) while I’ve been trying to sort myself out. I’m not completely sorted out (who is these days anyway?) but I wanted to sit down and show you the manicures I’ve had on my hands over the last couple of weeks leading up to Halloween. I’ve done a blood drip manicure, a disappearing/reappearing manicure, and a Frankenstein themed manicure. A copious amount of pictures ahead ๐
Let’s start off with the thermal disappearing/reappearing manicure with Baroness X Ghastly and Polish ‘M Pennhurst. I started off with ย 3 coats plus top coat of Ghastly (which I’ll show you in full at a later date), used YouPolish nail vinyls/decals, and sponged Polish ‘M Pennhurst over the top.
To be honest, the ghost kinda looks like it’s shrugging in a “IDGAF” pose. ๐ Pennhurst did need 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out but it was worth it.
Next up was my blood drip mani with 2 coats of Pahlish Pianos Filled with Flames with 1 coat of Baroness X Magma over it, accompanied by 2 coats of JulieG Black Sheep. Again, I think I used YouPolish decals. (I’ll have more on this manicure in a later post.)
Not gonna lie, I’m low-key in love with how it looks with a matte top coat instead of shiny top coat. I felt like a total badass with this mani on, too.
Last is the mani I actually wore on Halloween with 2 coats ofย Bad Bitch Polish No Tricks (separate swatch coming soon!) and BarryM Black Multi Glitter. This is a mix of free hand and decal help. This was a fun and simple mani that I received several compliments on!
I hope you all had a good Halloween if you celebrated. ๐ Let me know what you rocked on your nails!
Some nice Halloween themed manicures.
