OPI We’ll Always Have Paris Suede compared to Hot Topic Blackheart Beauty Virgo

So while I was swatching the new Zodiac nail polishes from Hot Topic (still no luck with the Sagittarius though!), I thought that Virgo looked really familiar! I decided to pull out my bottle of OPI We’ll Always Have Paris Suede and do a little comparison.

In the bottle, they look super similar, right? The BhB is a little cooler and silvery than the OPI.

On the nail, the OPI is middle and pinky finger and BhB is on the pointer and ring. At first glance, they still look really similar and it isn’t until lower light you can see a difference. The finish though, is exactly the same.

In low light, the richness of the OPI really comes out! It just looks more expensive. Though I will say that when you’re talking about $5 polish (less if you take advantage of the Buy One Get One at your local Hot Topic) versus a $75 polish – it’s similar enough for me!

On this topic, I have all the Suedes except for Lincoln Park After Dark and Here Today Aragon Tomorrow and I might just bite the bullet and pay ebay prices for them so that I have a finished collection. And….I don’t know if I’ve ever swatched any of them proper. Maybe I should do that. LOL. Anyway, I’ll have another comparison post with Blackheart Beauty Capricorn and 3 OPI polishes coming next week, so be on the lookout for that!
