Sh*t, I really gotta get my act together and start paring down how wordy I am in my titles. Oh well. I didn’t want to make a separate post just for two photos of my new sunglasses so you’re getting them at the end of this post. (I decided to make a separate post after all.) Andddddd I have swatches galore in this post so it is a bit longer of a post. I hope you’re okay with that. 😛
Anyway, I saw an eyeshadow look on instagram from abajmiller and wanted to try it out. Of course, mine didn’t come out near as gorgeous as hers but that’s the way it goes. I’ve used the Lorac Disney Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales palette again (I used it last week in my art deco makeup look).
From top to bottom, the eyeshadows I’ve used today: Shiver Me, Yo Ho, Treasure, Silent Mary
I’ve also used three Glamour Doll Eyes powdered blushes today: Tiny Unicorns, Skeletina, Hollywood Affair (top to bottom in picture). Okay, yes I know that it’s slightly at an angle but since I’m pale, Tiny Unicorns & Skeletina barely show up on camera on my skin.
Here are jar shots that I never got around to posting! I think I took these photos awhile ago (okay, I looked and it was almost a year ago :O ) and got in a blogger slump and never posted them.
Okay, here’s the deal with my lips today. I started off with Wet N Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in Señorita (top). It was too peppy I thought so I added Jordana Black Pearl Metallic in Midnight Magic (third down from top). The two combinations are second from top. I didn’t like how that looked so I added Milani in Enchanted Ruby. I still didn’t like how that looked so I blotted my lips down and added Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Sultry. And that’s the story with my lips. 😀
Back to my eyes, I started off blending Yo Ho in my crease. I used Silent Mary on the lid and Shiver Me along the browbone. Then using Nyx Cosmetics Black Bean, I smudged it along my upper lash line and blended Treasure on top of it before using Epic Ink on the upper lash line. I have to say I’m really happy with how my wings turned out today, even though Treasure was a little thick towards the inner eye.
I’m really undecided on if I like the L.A. Girl Pro.contour cream palette. I don’t know if it’s too much and I end up using a heavy hand or if it’s harder to blend out or what. Just when I think I have makeup figured out…
Okay, if you’ve read this far, I think I love you. 😛 Seriously though, I have inherited my dad’s gift of the gab! Go check out my post with my new sunglasses now and tell me which you prefer.
