Don’t side-eye me, I am well aware of the pitfalls of creating a blue eyeshadow look. And I hoped I’ve sidestepped them in this makeup look from yesterday. I was trying to emulate this makeup look on instagram from littledustmua.
I really need to get more rich colors because I think that would have really helped the base of this come along. It needs more oomph, especially in the outer corner.
I started with a base of Wisdom, Golden Egg, and Wings of Fire (Sanguis Draconis palette), then a brick red (88 Original Palette), and Steam (Flawless Matte 2 palette). I then cut a crease (still working on getting better on that) with concealer, applied a baby blue (88 Original Palette). I used a sticky base (Foil Me from Glamour Doll Eyes), and applied Metamorphosis (Alice Through the Looking Glass) in the outer corner and Moon Lighter (Sanguis Draconis) on the inner corner. I wasn’t satisfied, so then I used Vega (Moondust) in the outer corner.
For lips, I applied Kat Von D Woolf around the edges and Wet N Wild Bewitched on the inner and blended together for a darker look.
Well, let me know your thoughts and if you have any recommendations for rich eyeshadow palettes!
