Makeup and Outfit of the day with Becca Cosmetics, Maybelline, Nyx Cosmetics, and Hot Topic

I’m so ready for spring and summer, I’ve started buying tank tops and wearing open-toed shoes! I knew today was going to be super nice so I layered a black tank top under this new crocheted skull top I picked up from Hot Topic with a “new to me” (picked up at a thrift store) khaki jacket. Also I apparently don’t know what to do with my hands when I pose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At any rate, I think doing my makeup yesterday did end up helping me because I woke up feeling so much better this morning. I slept like a rock too, so I’m sure that also helped. This was another eyeshadow palette that I picked up from TJ Maxx and I freaking love it! I really did buy it for Gilded, Lava, and Midnight Sapphire but the other colors are quite lovely as well.

I started by packing on Red Rock on my lid, then blended Granite in the crease, and fluffed on Cloud on the browbone. After applying a bit of concealer in the center of my lid, I applied Midnight Sapphire, then blended on the outer edge with Red Rock, inner corner with Gilded. Lastly, I used a bit of Glamour Doll Eyes Foil Me in the very center of my lid and applied Lava on top.

 

I need a better shot of my earrings to show you because they are so multichrome-y! They almost match Red Rock and Lava together.

I’m still loving the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink, and wanting a bit more of a warm look, I used Seductress with Nyx Cosmetics Liquid Suede Metallic Matte in Exposed over the top of that.

Are you ready for spring yet? I need to go give myself a pedicure with a hot spring color to help me stay in the happy spring mood. 😀
