Guest Post by BeginNails: Pink Leopard Nail Art
Greetings and Nailutations,
Hello! I’m Kristi from BeginNails and I will be standing in for Jessica today, while she is tending to a new addition!
To me, Jessica is a glamorous mom – stylish, always trying out new beauty looks and has amazing hair! She is fierce, adventurous and I love her hair! I wanted to go with something that was feminine, yet sassy and fun!
Products used:
Drip Drop Nail Paint: Sentimental Journey (pink), Yoga Pants (black)
It Girl Nail Art: IG112 Plate (press sample)
Clear Jelly Stamper: Stamper, Clean Up Brush (press sample)
Ellagee: Lickity Split Latex Mani Mask (press sample)
Heather’s Hues: Heart of the Matter
I started with a base of Sentimental Journey, which is the 3 year tribute polish for Drip Drop Nail Paint. (Gotta love milestones!) Then I protected my skin with Mani Mask and stamped with IG112 Plate from It Girl Nail Art and Yoga Pants. I had to make it look soft, so I topped it off with Heart of the Matter – my current go to matte top coat.
Does this mani show femininity and sass and fun? I hope I did Jessica proud and I hope she is enjoying her bonding time.
Thanks for reading,
Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails
Thank you, Kristi for this kick ass mani! ❤ Your kind words are making me blush! Please go check out Kristi’s blog and give her a follow on Facebook, twitter, and instagram.
Guest Post by Painted Fingertips: Vapid Lacquer Spider and the Fly + Cryogenic Refrigerant
Hi everyone!
I am so honoured to be on Jessica’s blog today! Be Happy And Buy Polish has been one of my favourite blogs to follow ever since I first started getting into nail art and Jessica is a delight. I hope you’ll enjoy the nail art I have to share with you today, and if you do, come and visit me at Painted Fingertips!
I’ve used two gorgeous polishes from Vapid Lacquer to create this nail art. I started off with a base of Vapid Spider and the Fly, a stunning forest green. Once it was completely dry, I made some patterns on my nails using tape and painted over it with Vapid Cryogenic Refrigerant. I peeled the tape off carefully and added a top coat to finish it off.
I’m relatively new to Vapid Lacquer, despite the fact that it’s been popular in the nail world for a while now, and I am really glad I got my hands on these! They are gorgeous and work beautifully together.
What do you think?
Thank you Jessica for letting me share these!
Thank YOU, Kerry, for guest posting today. I hope you are following Kerry – she always has such wonderful nail art and inventive color combinations. Find her on Facebook, instagram, and twitter.
Guest Post From BeautyJudy: Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk Review
Hello, everyone, if we haven’t met, I’m Judy, from BeautyJudy! I’m thrilled to guest post here on Be Happy And Buy Polish today – Jessica has an awesome space on these inter webs to celebrate beauty and I drool over her nail swatches on the regular. Thank you for letting me crash the party, Jessica!
I thought it’d be fitting to drop in with a quick review of a hand cream, since it’s winter. I don’t know about you, but I love keeping my hands moisturized so that when I wear all my pretty polish and nail art, my dry and cracked hands aren’t a distraction!
While browsing the aisles at Ulta, I found a section of Tony Moly products, all made with banana. I picked up a couple, including today’s product, Magic Food Banana Hand Milk. Its key ingredients include banana extract and milk protein. Continue reading
Guest Post From Copycat Claws
Hey there! Serene here from Copycat Claws. When I heard Jessica was having a baby and might need some blogging help, I jumped at the chance to help out. Jessica has always been such a wonderful member of the nail blogging community that I definitely wanted to lend a hand.
For those of you who don’t know me, my little sister named my blog for me when I first started getting into nail art. It seemed I was always finding inspiration in random places (i.e. copying) and my nail art for my guest post today is no exception. Does your town have Paint Nite’s, events where people get to hang out together, usually at a bar or restaurant, and try their hand at painting? I’ve done a couple and they’re a blast (even if I don’t have much artistic ability…hence I’m a big time stamper). Sometimes I just check out their website and look at the paintings which is what happened here. I saw an awesome neon snowflake painting that I wanted to try to get onto my nails.
Guest Post from Stacie: Fun With Black and Silver
Hello, Be Happy and Buy Polish readers! I’m Stacie from wacie.com and I’m your guest poster today. I have a black and silver skittle mani that I hope you’ll like. For this look, I used Digital Nails‘s Pandorica (black holo) and Wow (silver holo), Sally Hansen’s Black Out (black creme), OPI’s Push and Shove (silver foil), and Indigo Bananas‘s Moonlight (Clair de Lune) (silver flakies). I used top coat on every nail but the middle one. All photos were taken in direct sunlight.

Top Shelf Lacquer Shower Bombs – Purchased By Me
Hey guys!
Today I have a great new product to share with you from Top Shelf Lacquer, the Top Shelf Lacquer Shower Bombs! The new year brought in a bout of pneumonia that I’ve been slowly recovering from, and when I saw her come out with these I snapped up two packs. They are so great — and I’ll give you my review after the photos!
