Magnetic Manicure with Bee’s Knees Lacquer, Tonic Polish, Shleee Polish

Polishes used:
1 coat of base coat
Hot Topic Blackheart Beauty Midnight Galaxy, 1 coat as a base applied thickly.
Bee’s Knees Lacquer The Band of Exiles [not in stock as of this writing]. Without magnet applied, it is an orange to green base with green/orange/yellow iridescent flakes; when magnet is applied I see a brilliant green to pink/purple shift.
Shleee Polish Psychedelic [not in stock as of this writing]. Without magnet applied, it is a royal purple to magenta to yellow/orange to green multichrome polish with blue/red shimmer; when magnet is applied, I see a brighter pink/purple/yellow shift.
Tonic Polish Jubilee [in stock as of this writing]. Without magnet applied, it is a primarily mossy green to blue to yellow to purple multichrome polish; when magnet is applied, I see bright gold to brighter green come alive.

Yeah, you’re getting another magnetic manicure. I’m just an impatient bish and wanted to share my current mani with you straight away. I’m going to revisit each of these and share swatches with you but for now, let’s get to this mani!

Neon and Magnetic fluid nail art with Moonflower Polish and Bee’s Knees Lacquer

Polishes used:
1 coat of base coat
Bee’s Knees Lacquer Reputation of Malice, 1 thin coat as base. This is a black based polish with magnetic flakes and holo flakes. It shifts from blue, teal, purple, emerald, maroon, and violet.
Moonflower Polish Electric Slime. An eye-searing neon green.

This is my current mani and while I absolutely adore it, I’m disappointed with myself. You see, a few days ago I was trying to swatch some new polishes I bought. I got two in and I was just so frustrated with my photos. I’m hoping to get them swatched tomorrow, because they are super pretty! But I took a break to just wear a manicure for me and I’m glad I did with this combination.

This is actually my first attempt at veil nails, before I did any of the others! I wanted to see if it would work with a magnetic nail polish and while it looks cool, it doesn’t have that veil look.

I jammed my finger playing at the park with my kids on Sunday so there went my swatching plans yesterday. <_< Of course I had all these plans to get a bunch of polishes swatched and that jammed those all up. 😛

Anyway, you’ll be getting nail art posts for the rest of the week, I hope you don’t mind. 🙂 I applied a coat of Let’s Jam to my nails and let dry. Then I applied another coat and applied the other two polishes to the nail before swirling around with a brush.

Oh my gosh you all. I am so over summer vacation and it just started. >.< And I just realized that it’s June and my scheduled posts ran out at the end of May. So ummm I actually need to do some swatching and scheduling. haha!
