Polish ‘M Bone Voyage, 3 coats plus 2 coats of glossy top coat
Hot Topic Blackheart Beauty Divine Elements Earth, 3 coats plus 2 coats of glossy top coat
Both polishes apply nicely but neither dry quite with the really shiny look I like, so I doubled up on top coat.

This is my current mani, though I think I’ll be taking it off later today. I picked up a few polishes from Polish ‘M during their Black Friday sale and I always love her thermals; in my opinion, they are some of the best around.

I couldn’t wait to show you my current manicure, so here we are. I picked up a few new polishes from Hot Topic and I received a new polish to swatch; while they were sitting together two of them looked incredible together so I decided to combine them together. Buckle up, buttercup, I’ve got quite a few photos to show you!

Late night posting even though I really should be starting to get settled for bed. But I knew if I didn’t type this up, I wouldn’t have time tomorrow to do it! So… I thought I’d share with you a look I did for a zombie 5k run this past weekend. I thought it turned out really well! P.S. My time was 29.53 for the 5k. 😀

Multichrome Iridescent Placement Glitter with Tonic Polish and Blackheart Beauty

Have I ever shared that I’m kind of a freak about writing pens? I don’t know if anyone else has a strong preference for what kind of pen they prefer to write with but I definitely do. I love a good black, fine-tip (.3mm or .5mm preferred, .7mm is no good) ballpoint or Sharpie style pen. Gels are no go because usually I end up smearing them. I actually will just keep buying pens because usually I need them stashed places!

Do you ever have a moment of “woah” because someone said something that made you change how you looked at a problem? That is totally what happened when I saw someone say they did a paint splatter manicure by making decals. Like, mind blown!

Tonic Polish Mirabilis over Blackheart Beauty Navy Vampire Matte swatch

Polishes used:
Blackheart Beauty Navy Vampire Matte, 1 coat [previously swatched]
Tonic Polish Mirabilis, 2 coats. This is a magnetic multichrome topper; I’ve used the Tonic Polish ring magnet in this manicure.
1 coat of top coat

I’m going to keep this fairly short because I’m super tired. Mirabilis is a seriously amazing polish and if you don’t have it, you’d better buy it. There are all sorts of beautiful colors in this polish.

Blackheart Beauty Matte Nude layered with Tonic Polish Lips

Polishes used:
1 coat of base coat
Blackheart Beauty Matte Nude, 1 coat. I would call this a light peachy-pink matte polish. Formula was pretty atrocious.
Tonic Polish Lips, 1 thick coat. This is a magnetic multichrome polish that shift from pink to gold to green to mustard yellow. When a magnet is applied, a bright blue shift comes alive.
1 coat Dreamland Lacquer Ooh Shiny

How could I not pair a nail polish called Nude with a nail polish called Lips? 😀
