Hey everyone! I thought that for once I’d prep a bit so that I could show you a series of manicures for Valentine’s Day! Even though a few days ago I showed you a polka dot rose manicure, I saw this manicure on instagram and decided to do my take on it. Bonus: it glows under blacklight!

Flower and glitter skittlette manicure with Polish ‘M, Different Dimension, KBShimmer

Polishes used:
Polish ‘M Denim, 2 coats plus top coat, almost a One-Coat Wonder. Applied very smoothly.
Different Dimension Go Pluck Yourself, 3 coats plus matte top coat

Failed Mismatched Print nail art with Formula X, Fancy Gloss, Different Dimension

Polishes used:
Formula X Metamorphic (the charcoal), 3 coats
Formula X Turbo (the yellow)
Different Dimension Slay Your Own Dragons (minty green glitter on ring finger), 3 coats plus matte top coat
Fancy Gloss Lu-Mint-Escence, 2 coats
And don’t ask me what the white is because I can’t remember. 😛

Ugh. I hated this manicure as soon as I finished. I kept adding stuff in hopes that it would turn around (it’s happened before) but it just kept getting worse. So I’m calling this one a huge fail. Learn from my mistakes.

Holographic drag marble pedicure with Different Dimension Fatigued and I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller

Happy weekend all! It’s another Saturday and another pedicure, this time with Different Dimension Fatigued and I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller.

I was bored one day trying to figure out my next pedicure and I happened to spy these two sitting side-by-side. Don’t they just look so good together already? 

OPI Significant Other Color + Different Dimension Ursa Minor manicure

Morning all & I hope you are having a wonderful April morning. 🙂 Today is another manicure I was hopeful would bring me good baby luck but it didn’t. 😛 This is OPI Significant Other Color and Different Dimension Ursa Minor.

OPI Significant Other Color is a polish I picked up from TJMaxx. In the bottle it is a pretty purple-pink, on the nail it shifts from mauve to red to gold to green.

Different Dimension Black Friday Doorbuster Mystery Polishes swatches + review

Hi all! I snapped up these three polishes from Different Dimension’s Black Friday sales. They were all mystery polishes and good deals too ($5). The maker was also running a giveaway contest in the fan group at the same time for a polish thrown in with your order and I also won that! 😀 Let’s take a look at Doorbuster #1 Unity, Doorbuster #2 Belonging, Doorbuster #3 Community, and Thankful For You.

Unity is a bronze linear holographic polish.

Formula on this is sheer and a bit thin; it dries satin. This is 3 coats plus top coat.

Belonging is a green based polish with flakies of teal, green, blue, and gold.

Formula is sheer and thin though I had good flakie coverage. This is 3 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat.

Community is a blue based jelly polish with micro iridescent color shifting glitters.

This is definitely a jelly polish; the glitters do stick up. This is 3 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat. Not my favorite.

Thankful for You is a pink based holographic polish with holographic micro glitters.

Formula is sheer but has a good thickness; it dries gritty. This is 3 coats plus top coat. I’m not usually a pink polish person but this is a nice change.

There were 6 doorbuster polishes in all – I only had a chance to grab these three. Did you grab any of the door busters?

Pick Three Polishes: Different Dimension Bad Buoy, KBShimmer Alloy Matey, China Glaze Thistle Do Nicely nail art

So I didn’t realize when I picked out these polishes, but the names all kind of go together, you know? haha! 😛 I just was like “ooh, pretty shiny things!”

I started with 3 coats of Different Dimension Bad Buoy on my index, ring, and pinky fingers. You need to make sure each coat dries thoroughly, otherwise this’ll drag on each coat.

I then dotted with China Glaze Thistle Do Nicely on top of Bad Buoy.

On my middle finger and thumb, I used 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat of KBShimmer Alloy Matey. This does dry with a bit of texture, so doubling up on top coat is needed.

Even though this is a fairly simple mani, it sure packed a lot of punch! I’d love to know what you think, so please comment and share. 🙂
