So I saw this tutorial from ketonails that I tried out, but she hadn’t given it a name and I didn’t know what to call it. I asked in Hobby Polish Bloggers and I kind of liked brushed fluid nail art and fluid marble so I kind of combined the names. I have no idea if that’s what this technique is actually called but let’s go with it. This was so shifty and beautiful in person – I should have taken a video!

Oh boy, this is going to be one helluva post so let’s jump right in! I’m going to link other nail art with these Sinful Colors Transforming Top Coats with each polish. After swatches, I have nail art with all 5 and Femme Fatale Cosmetics Jasmine (a clear-ish green to darker turquoise thermal). As you can see in the photos, the Transforming Top Coats don’t really work on their own, they dry kind of funny.

Concrete Jungle, 2 coats [Spotted marbled nail art with Sinful Colors and Tonic Polish]

Okay, now onto nail art! I think this one of my most favorite manicures I’ve done in a long time. 

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Ouija nail polish swatch + review

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Ouija, 2 coats plus matte top coat plus shiny top coat. [Purchased through Color4Nails.]

It dries bumpy but has good application and coverage.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics A Fortune Teller’s Charm thermal nail polish swatch + review

Well here’s a polish brand I haven’t had on the blog in awhile: Femme Fatale Cosmetics. I think I purchased this polish through Color4Nails a long while back, guess it’s time I showed it off on the blog. This is Femme Fatale Cosmetics A Fortune Teller’s Charm.

A Fortune Teller’s Charm is a thermal polish that shifts from a yellowish green to a sea foam green, with golden shimmer and added gold and silver holographic glitters.

Hey everyone – long time no talk! My apologies for the unintended (sort of intended?) blogging break. It seems like I’ve just been go go go around this house: trying to keep up with 4 kids, exercise, husband, cooking/cleaning/maintenance, plus getting ready to move. My nails and the blog have fallen by the wayside – lately I haven’t even had time to do my nails. I have plenty of nail swatches & art to show you but at the end of the day, the last thing I’ve been wanting to do is sit down at my computer and type up blog posts. So posts may be a little sparse around here for the time being until things settle down a bit (and I can get some freakin’ sleep!).

Random Raindrop Nail Art with Baroness X, CrowsToes Nail Color, Femme Fatale, Polished Vino

Morning all! It’s the first official day of summer vacation and my goodness I’m not ready for the heat of the summer yet! We seem to be having warmer than usual weather here in my part of Montana so I’m dying of heat already – which, btw, we don’t have central air conditioning in my house so it can get unbearable! I’m wishing for some rain but raindrop nail art with Baroness X, CrowsToes Nail Color, and Femme Fatale Cosmetics will have to do.

I started off with 2 coats plus top coat of Baroness X Minthe on my middle and ring fingers. This is a pearlescent white base with green to pink shimmer. So so pretty!

Baptism Nails and makeup of the day

Hi everyone! Kind of a late in the day post, I know. But I wanted to share with you my nails that I wore today for Henry’s baptism and my makeup. Life update at the end of this post!

I wanted something delicate since my outfit was kind of loud. LOL. I started with 3 coats of Sinful Colors Just Deserts from the Stoned Crystal Shimmer collection. It is slightly more pink in real life. (I’m really hoping to get swatches done of this collection this week, btw.) Then I added an iridescent glitter stud to the nails with Just Deserts on them.
