Good morning everyone! I must apologize for my absence again. I’ve been feeling so poorly lately that basically I’m up in the morning and then I take a nap just to feel better. Ugh! Consequently, swatching polishes is kind of low on the list of priorities right now…but I have so many pretties to show you that I’m kind of jumping at the chance to write posts up.
Well, I’ve been wanting to show you two more gorgeous polishes from Model City Polish and here they are: Latte and Dark Roast.

MCP Latte is described as “a light nude brown color with a soft holographic shimmer.”

I’ve used 3 coats for Latte, the formula seemed a bit thick, so I used thin coats for full coverage. My sun shots also seem to have come out a bit more green-tinged than the polish actually was.

MCP Dark Roast is described as “a dark smoke brown holographic blend with a gold fleck shimmer.”

The formula on Dark Roast was a bit thin, but not “out of control, flood yer cuticles” thin. I’ve used 2 coats for full coverage here.
I really have to say that I like both of these, especially Latte – I don’t think I have a similar polish in my collection to it. The great news is that both of these are still available in the MCP shop, so get over there and pick these up!
I’d love to know what you think of these polishes, so drop me a line below. I do have some exciting polish collections to show you from great makers like Finger Lickin’ Lacquer, ellagee, Barielle, and Renaissance Cosmetics so stay tuned!
