1 coat of QDTC

Okay, I know I said it was Sally Hansen week, but this is my current manicure and I’m totally in love with how it turned out and had to share it right away. I’ve been obsessed by how string painting is done and wondered if it could be done on nails, and if so, how! If you haven’t seen a video of string painting, check that out first and come back.

Manicure with Necessary Evil Polish Ofrenda Dia de los Muertos 2018 and accent nail

Polishes used:
Necessary Evil Polish Ofrenda from Dia de los Muertos 2018, 3 coats
1 coat of top coat

Another manicure that’s a few months old – oh well, it isn’t like my nails have grown at all lately and there’s a huge difference in my pictures. <_< At least there’s pretty nail polish to distract me. 😛

Glitter Manicure with Necessary Evil Polish and L.A. Colors

Polishes used:
1 coat of OPI Natural Nails Base Coat
3 thin coats of Necessary Evil Polish Norepinephrine,
1 coat plus dabbing of L.A. Colors Mermaid Magic Shimmer Mist
1 coat of Dreamland Lacquer Ooh Shiny!

This is a manicure I created while I was on my staycation last month, and of course I have almost no recollection of it! 😛

Norepinephrine is a thermal polish but I wasn’t able to capture it very well. I’m going to point you to Jenalyn’s swatches which made me buy the darn thing in the first place!

I have been wanting to get my hands on this polish ever since I saw swatches of it, and now it’s mine, all mine! muahhahahahahahahaha *ahem*

I’m trying to remember where I saw a video tutorial of this, I think it was yagala on instagram? (I’ll link if I find it!) Anyway, it’s a really nifty way of creating a design for nails. You start with a coat of your polish, then let it dry. Then add a second (usually thicker) coat, and while it is runny, add a drop of your polish in the vague shape you want. Then outline with another color!
