I’ve been crying off and on for days, and this manicure made me tear up even more. Confused? Well, I’ll attempt to clear it up. If you’re new to my blog, you might not know that this week marks the 8th anniversary of my mom’s death. Usually on the actual anniversary date, my kids and I go perform Random Acts of Kindness in our community in her honor. (#RAOK4Lucy on Thursday to follow along.) I’m really struggling this year though. Maybe it’s because as my youngest two grow up, I’m realizing more and more not only what my mom is missing, but what they are missing by not having known her. Let’s see more of this manicure and then I’ll tell you why it made me cry this morning.

So remember Sweet Evil? I couldn’t stop using it in nail art! I paired it with Hellhound already and this time around I’ve paired it with Darkhearted. Don’t forget Sweet Evil will be available only February 2-5 at PolishPickup.

I couldn’t wait to show these off, I haven’t done a soft nail art look like this in a long time. I followed this tutorial by alla_nails and I think it came out pretty well. I did this for OPI Mad Love Color of the Month which is red. If you like this, please share or pin an image! 🙂
