I don’t know if I shared how I create splatter manis now! Basically I make them into a decal by creating the splatter on a piece of plastic wrap/sandwich bag, wait for it to dry, peel it off and cut out a section for my nails.
Polishes used:
Tonic Polish Drag Race, 3 coats plus top coat
Formula X Orion’s Belt, 3 thin coats and no top coat

I am so tired, I gotta tell you. I feel like a broken record but when I get depressed and anxious, I get so tired. I had a doozy of a panic attack on Friday, the effects of which lasted all day. Then I was on edge all weekend. 
Yesterday I stayed in my pajamas and ate junk food all day. I did do my nails in a bright tropical(ish) skittlette and that helped a bit.

This was a fun mani, mix of fun and bright and dark and mysterious. A good summer manicure!
Polishes used:
Tonic Polish Rose 2017, 3 thin coats plus top coat. This dries so shiny! The formula was of good consistency.
Formula X Glitter Rocket, 2 coats and no top coat. Each coat takes longer to dry than you’d think.
The way Rose shifts and flashes in the light was pretty much amazing, and I think by pairing it with the textured polish, I was able to see the multichrome shifts even easier.

Formula X Mind Over Matter matte top coat
Afternoon everyone! Quick little post while the little ones sleep. 😀 I created this mani last night – I was trying to do something interesting with these four and Sinful Colors Transforming Top Coat in Concrete Jungle but couldn’t make something work. Oh well! I rather thought this turned out like abstract flowers or something. If you’re interested in this technique, I did it similar to this tutorial from Yagala (pedicure warning!).
Polishes used:
Polish ‘M The Great Pumpkin, 2 coats. Good formula, if a little sheer; if I was going to wear it by itself, I would have done a third coat to cover my nail line completely.
Sinful Colors Coco Bae
Funky Fingers Dark Knight
Formula X Naughty Newton, 2 coats. This dries textured. Good formula, just a tad sheer.
Formula X Oh! Zone, 1 coat plus 2 coats of top coat over Naughty Newton.
Un-frog-gettable Cuticle Cover so I didn’t have to do so much clean up. This stuff works really nicely, is inexpensive, and comes in unscented.
This is my current mani and though the tiger stripe isn’t perfect (and my top coat smeared a bit), I really love how it came out. I haven’t done an animal print manicure in quite some time, and I got this idea after watching a video from kombucha_witch_ on instagram. (Go watch, I’ll wait.)
I first used Coco Bae, and just kept going over it on the stamp head until it started drying out and pulling up. Then I applied it to the nail. Â Then I did the same with the black polish, I just used more of it. Of course, my other hand came out much nicer. Continue reading

Ugh. I hated this manicure as soon as I finished. I kept adding stuff in hopes that it would turn around (it’s happened before) but it just kept getting worse. So I’m calling this one a huge fail. Learn from my mistakes.
