Chevron nail art with Blush Lacquers and Formula X

Polishes used:
—Blush Lacquers Bane of My Existence [November Polish Pickup], 3 thin coats plus top coat. Applied smooth, and has a good formula. It has a beautiful blue tinge to it that I adore.
–Formula X Tide, 2 coats and no top coat. I’m so disappointed that this thickened up since I bought it. It’s almost unusable. 😦 But it’s so pretty.

This is my current mani – I did it yesterday to try to help my anxiety. 😦 I’ve been fighting anxiety and panic attacks since yesterday afternoon. Some days just suck. It is soothing to touch the textured polish though – isn’t that strange?

Formula X glitter nail polishes swatches + review

Morning all! I hope you are having a good week – it’s cold here and raining. I mean, I love spring rain, don’t get me wrong. But when it’s accompanied by cold temps and cold wind, then nah, I wanna pass. Good thing there’s always polish to distract me…speaking of which, I have some Formula X glitter polishes to show you today: Firecracker, Spark, Mind Blowing, Crash, and TNT.

Formula X Theoretical, Daredevil, Extreme swatches + review

Woohoo, it’s another Friday! Thank goodness for that, right? Today I’m going to be showing you three polishes from Formula X: Theoretical, Daredevil, and Extreme. (Don’t forget to enter my giveaway!)

Theoretical is a purple with tinge of brown polish that has a silvery shimmer. Formula was good, it could be a One Coat Wonder for those people with shortie nails. This is 2 coats plus top coat.

Daredevil is a teal polish with blue shimmer. Formula was a little uneven but it has a good thickness; it dries satin. This is 2 coats and no top coat.

Extreme is a yowza red polish with a tinge of orange at the edges. Formula was a little thin but otherwise no complaints; it dries satin. This 2 coats and no top coat.

I love, love, love Theoretical. It is one of those polishes you just have to see in person to see how pretty it really is. What do you think?

Formula X Brain Power swatch + review

Morning all! I hope you are having a good Friday. 🙂 Today I have a polish that you’ve seen on the blog before, underneath Formula X Alchemy III. Let’s take a look at Brain Power by itself!

Brain Power is a camel brown creme polish. Though the formula is thin, it self-levels nicely; it does dry satin. This is 2 coats and no top coat. 

It’s nice to have such a neutral polish in my polish arsenal but I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for this!

Formula X Torque and Racy swatches + review

I’m back with some Formula X nail polishes to show you today: Torque and Racy. These are both chrome-y polishes, one I top-coated and one I did not, just to see how the top coat would change how the chrome looked.

Torque is a brown-green polish. Formula is okay, it dries fast and matte. It also shows all my ridges and flaws. This is 2 coats plus top coat.

Racy is a pretty silvery purple polish. Formula is similar to Torque. This is 2 coats and no top coat.

Racy is really pretty, it has to be my favorite. I just love the color. And to be honest, it reminds me of 80s lacy lingerie! 😛 No wonder they named it Racy.

Formula X Sublime, Funky, Infamous swatches + review

Hi everyone! I have 3 Formula X polishes to show you today: Sublime, Funky, And Infamous. These are all duo or multi chrome polishes. Do they compare to indie multi chromes? Read on to find out.

Sublime is a sage green to glowy green to pink multichrome. Formula on this was super thin and sheer.

Formula X Alchemy III swatch + review PLUS comparison to Alchemy and Alchemy II

Hi everyone and happy Friday! I’m back today with another comparison post. I was lucky enough that a fellow polish-aholic found Formula X Alchemy III for me, since my Sephora inside JcPenney’s didn’t have it. So let’s take a look at Formula X Alchemy III, and comparisons to Alchemy II [previously swatched], and the original Alchemy [previously swatched].

I first wanted to see how Alchemy III looked on its own. It is a very pale pink champagne base with gold and pink flakes. This is 3 coats plus top coat.
