I’ve been in a bad place lately with my anxiety and even though my nails are at a really nice length (*knock on wood*), I haven’t felt like painting my nails at all. I almost had an anxiety attack the other night because I couldn’t decide on what to use to paint my nails. That’s something I really hate about anxiety – the freaking out about stupid – absolutely stupid & pointless – shit. I’ve barely left the house because crowds give me anxiety as well as just general anxiety about being out in public.
Anyway, in a group I’m in on Facebook (Magnetic Polish Lovers), Christine (@shortywhatwhat) shared a mani where she layered a clear to purple thermal with a magnetic polish. I thought it was such a nifty idea and tried it with a clear to blue thermal and a different Shleee Polish (that mani will be coming soon) and it didn’t turn out. I really wanted this concept to work so I decided to experiment a little bit and found out a combo that worked in some flame drag marble nail art. This is 1 coat of Stripper Glitter over Box Office Bitch with 1 coat of top coat. This is top coat hungry but applies even and has good consistency.

Don Deeva Glocks & PopRocks 3 coats [previously swatched]
The glitters on Sylvia Bernstein slightly stick up so I needed 2 coats of top coat.
Polish used:
Don Deeva Varnish Glocks & PopRocks (3 coats no top coat); Good consistency, applies a little patchy
