Magnetic stripe manicure with Shleee Polish, Polish ‘M, Jessica Cosmetics

Polishes used:
Shleee Polish Area X, 3 coats plus top coat. Slightly sheer but this is a beyond gorgeous magnetic polish!
Polish ‘M Tip Tau-pe Through the Tulips, 3 coats
Jessica Cosmetics Starfish Glow, 3 coats plus top coat

Anyone else having their kids drive them crazy already this summer, or am I just that special? 😛 I love my kids but goodness gracious this summer might just kill me.

This is how I started off this manicure and the more I looked at it, the more I realized something felt off. I just needed a bit more extra.

Magnetic blobbicure mani with Jessica Cosmetics and Tonic Polish

Jessica Cosmetics Monsoon Melon, 2 coats
Tonic Polish Diva Royale, 3 coats plus top coat

Color accuracy must be taking a hike this week because Monsoon Melon is showing up way more orange than it actually is. It’s more pink in real life. Sigh.

Turquoise, Gold, and Black + White Chevron Skittlette Manicure

Good Monday morning, all! How was your weekend? We had a fun one with family on Sunday and on Saturday did some garage-saling and fun outings. I’ve also been powering through the Harry Potter series (again) just because. Today I have a fun manicure to show you featuring KBShimmer, Jessica Cosmetics, Pahlish, and ellagee.

I started off with 3 thin coats of Pahlish Star Upon Your Shoulder (Bespoke Batch) on my index and ring fingers. On my middle finger, I used 2 coats of KBShimmer Dressed to Gild. Lastly, on my pinky (and thumb), I started with 2 coats of Jessica Cosmetics Sharktooth before using chevron nail vinyls and ellagee My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights.

I have to admit, I wore this for about 4 days before I finally had to take it off. It was so sparkly and pretty, I just loathed to get rid of it!

1/2 + 1/2 pedicure with holographic studs

Good Monday morning, all! Did you have a fantastic weekend? Our family went to a local renaissance faire at the zoo yesterday and just had a blast…it was my first one and I’m so glad we went. 🙂

Today I have a fun sparkly pedicure for you! Lately I’ve just really wanted my toes to be super pretty and fun, so they’ve been pretty jazzy. 😛

I started off with Jessica Cosmetics Starfish Glow (pink-coral) on half of each toe, and Jessica Cosmetics Dynamite Teal on the other half. I then used Pahlish What a Terrible World over both colors. Lastly, I used holographic silver dots from daily charme [gift] down the middle where the two creme polishes met, and topped with top coat.

I think I wore this for about two weeks and none of the dots ever fell off! I was really impressed with how flat they lay on the toenail. If you’re interested in them, you can purchase them here.

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art: Snowmen

Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic week. 🙂 When I was thinking about the prompt of “snowmen”, I was going to do something different than last year’s Calvin & Hobbes snowmen nail art, but I just couldn’t. I had to do C&H again this year.

So, on my pinky & ring finger is a snowman who has dived into the snow. Then on my pointer finger is a snowman who has decided to knock over a fellow snowman (middle finger) for a snow cone. I used Jessica Sharktooth as a base, Jessica Sunset Blvd. for the black and topped with A Girl Obsessed Matte-ict top coat.

HPB Oct. Halloween Mani Link-Up

Good morning, my spooky readers! We’re inching closer and closer to Halloween and next week I’ll have even more Halloween manis to show you! Today, though, the Hobby Polish Bloggers group decided to get together for a Halloween mani link-up! The HPB is a group for bloggers who blog casually or for fun. It’s a great resource for those who are just starting out, or for those of us who have been doing this awhile. As a group, we’ll be doing a monthly link-up and today is our first one: Halloween!

So I was trying to get inspired for this and I came across one of those skull cameos on etsy (here’s one but they’re all over the place). Anyway, I thought I would try my hand at it.

I’ve used Jessica Sharktooth (white), Desire (red), Sunset Blvd (black), and Argon Blue. I was going to do a brocade-ish design on my pinky but kept messing it up, so I went with a saran wrap technique instead. Also, did you know that doing a skeleton in profile is FREAKING HARD?! LOL 😛 It totally didn’t come out how I wanted but oh well!
