I think it was nailluminati on instagram who I saw used Flawless over a teal and I had High Tide sitting on my table and thought “Hmmmm”. I’m so glad I tried it out!

Turtle Tootsie Polishes Bolide [April 2018 Polish Pickup Pack], 3 coats. Good formula, if a little sheer at the tips.

China Glaze Flirty Femininity, 3 coats. This is so sheer and runny and stinks to high heaven. 😛

Current mani here! I’ve been wanting to use Bolide from Turtle Tootsie Polishes since I bought it but everything I tried just didn’t click. I finally forced myself to sit down with it and come up with other complementary colors and a technique. And yes, I know you’ve seen a similar technique earlier this week. This technique was one I saw from yagala on instagram.

I love how the fluid nail art really looks like swirled candy or chocolate or even coffee. I started off with a shiny top coat and though I liked it, I really wanted to try it with a matte top coat.

ILNP Versailles + Brilliance sponged manicure

Cult Nails, 1 coat as undies
ILNP Versailles & Brilliance, sponged randomly

Versailles is the gold/green holographic polish, Brilliance is the multichrome flakie polish. This didn’t really turn out like I wanted but it’s still pretty! I just kept taking pictures in various lighting because it kept changing on me. 😛

I kinda just grabbed some polishes and smooshed them around on my nails with ripped up makeup sponges. And then I couldn’t stop taking pictures because it was so shifty and pretty. 😛

Slanted French manicure with Sally Hansen and ILNP

Polishes used:
Sally Hansen Rosy Quartz, 2 coats and no top coat. This is my perfect “MNBB” (my nails but better)
Sally Hansen Teal Good (left slant). This is going to stain nails!
Sally Hansen Reflection Pool (right slant). This was more sheer than expected.
ILNP Sunday Brunch. This was way more sheer than expected
Topped by Sally Hansen Argan Oil Top Coat

Though I don’t have pictures of it, at 4 days I had minor tip wear on both hands; at 6 days, I had more tip wear but no peeling or chunks coming off.
