Nail art with Fancy Gloss and Darling Diva Polish

Polishes used:
Darling Diva Polish Rey, 2 coats [previously swatched]
Fancy Gloss Mystery Box Prototype 2016, holographic purple with blue shift

I loosely based this nail art look on something I saw from koba_nails_studio on instagram. I started with Rey; painted the Fancy Gloss on a piece of saran wrap. Then using a stamper, I smooshed it on the polish, then kept smooshing it over itself until most of it was pulled up (I hope this makes sense, I’m writing this late at night!). Then I applied it to the nail. I’m thinking either the base color should have been either lighter or darker. It was hard to really see the beauty of the Fancy Gloss.

Darling Diva Rey nail polish swatch + review

Polishes used:
Darling Diva Polish Rey, 2 coats and no top coat. Formula was sheer and thin but removal was fairly easy.

Sigh. Man, I have so much to do right now and I don’t wanna do anything. I wanna pour a big glass of wine and sit in quiet time. I have zero wine though and there’s definitely no quiet to be had. Anyway…I used Rey as the base to some upcoming nail art and thought you might like to see it by itself. It’s quite a lovely neutral shade!

Darling Diva Polish Ophiuchus Hella Holo Customs January 2017

Polishes used:
Darling Diva Polish Ophiuchus, Hella Holo Customs January 2017, 2 coats plus acetone wipe down plus top coat

This has good consistency and coverage but the dimension gets lost and it kind of just ended up muddy, even after I wiped each nail down with a nail brush with acetone.

Vertical Gradient with Bad Bitch Polish, essie, and Darling Diva Polish

Criss-Cross manicure with Baroness X, Polish ‘M, Darling Diva Polish

Good Monday morning everyone! Now that we are in the swing of school stuff, I’m hoping that I’ll have a bit more time to do stuff but I’m a little doubtful. Okay, a lot doubtful. Distraction in the form of nail art? Why that sounds great to me!

I started with Baroness X Rainbow Serpent on my Rainbow Serpent is a blue to green shifting polish. I had good coverage in one coat but this is 2 coats, with Darling Diva Polish Mermaid Pee over the top.

Happy Monday everyone! I can’t believe August is tomorrow. Today we have an open house for the kids’ school and it’s like…holy crud, school is starting in a few weeks. Sh*t…we have how much left to do?? Ugh. So let’s distract everyone with pretty nails, mmkay? I’ve used Zoya Elphie, Olivera, and Alicia [gift] with Darling Diva Polish Fairy Pee Holo [press sample]. I’ve also used some nail studs from Crystal Parade.

Zoya Elphie is a deep forest green textured polish. This is 3 coats and no top coat. I did find that it needed that third coat to really deepen the color. 

Pahlish Armor Falling Down + Darling Diva Polish Kelpie Pee holo manicure

Morning all! I hope you had a great weekend! My husband was out of town on a short emergency trip – his grandmother died unexpectedly – so it was nice to have him home. For today’s mani, I have a combination of Pahlish Armor Falling Down and Darling Diva Polish Kelpie Pee holo [press sample].

Armor Falling Down is a brown toned purple (purple toned brown?) with golden shimmer. This had good consistency but let dry before applying second coat, otherwise it’ll be a bit patchy. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
