Good morning my lovelies! I hope you are having an amazing week so far. Does anyone else get off-kilter when the week starts off with a holiday? I’m so messed up on what day it actually is! Oh well, onto today’s nail art (I hope I’m posting this on the right day, 😉 ).
For the month of May, I’ve been matched up with Marijana from Nails From Fairy Tale. She comes up with some really great nail art! Let’s take a look at my nail art and what I’ve used, and then our nails together!
I started off with two coats of Sinful Colors Daisy Daze. I then used Sinful Colors Pull Over (yellow), and Clementine (orange) with Daisy Daze to create a gradient.
Now I had a dilemma, because the background was too light colored for sunflowers to show up properly. I decided to use Sinful Colors Citrine first for the sunflowers, then Pull Over on top. I also used Sinful Colors Strapped and Pistache for the leaf; Graine de Pouvre for the center of the sunflowers.
They definitely aren’t perfect, but they aren’t horrible, are they? Let’s look at Marijana’s nails & mine together:

I hope you head over to Nails From Fairy Tale and take a look at what Marijana has done! Until tomorrow,

Great job on the sunflowers. I need to try that out, I’ve never done a sunflower manicure.
Thanks Lisa! I bet you could really rock a sunflower mani!
This is so beautiful! My wedding flowers were sunflowers so they’ve definitely my favourite! I might have to try this out soon x
I’d love to see it if you do your nails with sunflowers! 🙂
Both of these are just gorgeous! I looove sunflowers – I recently went to a brilliant exhibition of Van Gogh!
Oh my gosh, totally jealous! I would love to go to an exhibition of Van Gogh!
And it was of different borrowed Sunflowers (they are more than 10 versions from different time periods) – and analysis and X-rays – SO GOOD! : )
These are both gorgeous!! I love the gradient background you did!
Oh thank you so much. 🙂 I like the gradient as well. 🙂
Both manicures are so pretty! Very vibrant and happy!
Thank you so much! 🙂

Aaaaah man I love this because I love sunflowers!
I am seriously stunned at your free hand skills. I love those, they look like the Van Gogh painting!
Oh, thank you so much. I don’t think they’re my best work, but sometimes you just have to be satisfied, right?
