Crumpet’s 33Day Challenge: #4 Tribal

Good morning! I am hating today’s challenge, mainly because every time I try tribal print, I end up sucking at it! LOL. But I will keep trying because I will not let a print defeat me! 😀 My inspiration comes from this etsy print.

I really love the non-traditional colors on this print, but it’s a little too “spring-y” for me, and so I’ve used more fall colors today. My base is Paula Dorf Stormy. I picked a three pack up at TJMaxx the other day for $6.99 and it’s a really great polish. This is almost total coverage in one coat, but I did two thin coats. For the rest of the colors, I’ve used OPI Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not (lighter purple), Wet N Wild Poison Ivy (deep green), Paula Dorf Blue-tiful (dark blue), Paula Dorf Model (deep shimmery purple).

I really don’t like how it turned out. 😦 It’s really hard to see the differing colors because my pictures didn’t turn out right, and I smeared them when I put topcoat on. Ugh! I just need to keep practicing tribal prints. LOL. Check out what the other ladies have done:

And I have kept promising about showing you I Love Nail Polish Mutagen, but my computer is being daffy. So hopefully this afternoon, I will have them up! Until then,
Be Happy and Buy Polish
