Best of 2013, Favorite Nail Art

Good morning all! I hope you are looking forward to the day. 🙂 I actually love Mondays, if I haven’t told you already – Sundays and Mondays are usually the two days off a week that my husband has. 🙂 So Mondays make me happy!

I have for you today a gathering of my favorite nail art throughout the year. This was really hard for me to narrow down! I hope you’ll forgive the pictures – I’m just realizing how far my pictures, and my manicures have come in just 8 months. Because there are so many pictures (believe me, I narrowed this down quite a bit!), I’ve included a jump break. Click through to see all the manis!

One of my first nail art manicures that’s a favorite is this one from May. I literally could not stop staring at this pretty mani!
Free form flowers

Next is this Marimekko inspired manicure, for sure a stunner:

This post wouldn’t be complete without one of my most favorite “fails”:
OPI Mermaids Tears and A England Rose Bower

This following manicure was the first one that got really good response from instagram and tumblr, and in my opinion, it’s not hard to see why:
Sinful Colors Laced Up and Whipped

This next manicure, I loved so much, I even put it on my son’s nails! (He asked!)
OPI Black Onyx, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

This manicure is one that I really pushed myself on…I did it on both hands!
OPI My Vampire is Buff, SOPI Studs & Stilettos, SOPI Ocean Love Potion, Color Club You're Golden

Next up is a manicure that had a lot of personal meaning for me:
OPI Don't Burst My Bubble, OPI I Lily Love You, OPI Black Onyx, OPI Alpine Snow, OPI A Definite Moust-Have, OPI Swimsuit...Nailed It

Totally switching gears, this next manicure was my absolute favorite Halloween manicure:
OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, OPI My Vampire is Buff, OPI Color So Hot It Berns, OPI Black Onyx, OPI Jade is the New Black, OPI Green Gargantuan Grape, SOPI Studs & Stilettos

Next up is my very first watermarble – how could I not include it on this list?!
Wet N Wild A Blank Canvas, Wet N Wild Caribbean Frost, Sally Hansen Gunmetal, Sally Hansen Grey Area

This next manicure is one that I simply adored for its lightness and femininity:
Orly Prelude to a Kiss, OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Goldeneye, Dollish Polish Penny Penny Penny

Peanuts inspired nail art was big on my blog this year; from Halloween, to Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

I ventured out into some tattoo inspired nail art with this Sailor Jerry design:

Lastly, I was inspired by Calvin & Hobbes snowmen:

Phew! What a year it’s been! I hope you’ve enjoyed this look back on 2013. 🙂 Which one of these is your favorite, or is your favorite not here? Let me know in the comments. I am so excited for 2014, and can’t wait to have more nail art fun! Until the next time,
Be Happy and Buy Polish
