Have I told you how much I really like Wet n Wild MegaLast polishes? They just are usually so nice, and I love the wide brush. I picked up I Dream of Jean Genie and Studio Glitter & Gold at CVS a long time back, tucked (aka hidden) on some end cap. Which is probably where another polishaholic had hidden them to buy later. But I’m a polish hunter, so I snagged them. Sorry, random polishaholic! 😛 Anyway, let’s take a look. 😀
I Dream of Jean Genie is a dirty jean polish with silver micro glitters. This is a jelly-ish formula, it builds up to nice coverage. This is 2 coats and no top coat.
Studio Glitter & Gold is a gold based polish with flakes of gold, pink, and bronze. This is sheer and thin; application was uneven. This is 3 coats and no top coat.
I really wanted to like SG&G way more than I did, but the sheer factor was just too much for me. What do you think?
Some nice swatches!
I don’t know what exactly I was expecting of ‘I Dream of Jean Genie” but it certainly wasn’t that! I kind of like it! 🙂
I know I don’t NEED that first one but it looks so neat! I also didn’t know they had the bunny on the bottle! I knew they were cruelty free but! How cool!
